She grew up and completed schooling in both Perth, Western Australia and Greeley, Colorado in the USA. Since then has lived in Canberra, graduated University in Western Australia, moved to the UK for four years and then finally found herself in Brisbane. In Perth, Melinda obtained her Bachelor of Dental Science in 1992 from the University of Western Australia. Not to mention, she is currently completing her Master’s Degree at Southern Cross University.
Having been with Dr Smile since 2007, Melinda is a veteran. One of her favourite parts of the job is meeting people and hearing their stories. She also finds dentistry very rewarding as it has such a big impact on her patient’s appearance and confidence.
Melinda has three children, two ‘fur babies’ and regularly hosts exchange students meaning she tends to have a house full of teenagers. On top of everything else Melinda juggles, she also speaks German! In her spare time, Melinda loves to watch her daughter compete in sport. Music also has a huge place in her life and everyone in her family plays an instrument.
